This was a rather mundain chapter in my opinion, a much expected semi-conclusion to the Kakashi/Chouji Family vs Pain.

So nothing much really happens this week, well not until the end. Kakashi along with Chouji and Chouji’s father come up with a plan to take on Pain… Trying to exploit a tiny gap between bursts of Gravitational control.

All appears to go to plan but in sheer bloody minded awesome ness the 4 armed Pain returns to take the Raikiri to the chest.
Umm….
Pain attacks from a range in an attempt to nullify the Sharingan, but close enough for Kakashi to claim he is unable to dodge.
Not so good.
So is Kakashi dead, did Pein just take out his Sharingan or is this just an elaborate Mangekyou-esque illusion? I’m hoping for the latter, since Kakashi is always thinking way ahead. Its not inconceivable to think that when Pain was trapped Kakashi set up an illision this being some part of whatever plan Kakashi had worked out with Chouji and his father
