Well I’ve been distracted alot recently by games so I felt I should review the one I played most, and as most anime fans seem to play MMORPG’s or Mamorphagahs (say that how it sounds). This should pass as a legit post.
EYE CANDY
Right so the basic back story for the world of EVE is that the Human Race which has now completely starved Earth of all resources and free space, set out into space using the wonders of Warp Drive and Stargate’s allowing the entire Milky Way to be colonised by us Humans.
However on the adventures of the Human Race a natural wormhole is discovered and all scout sent through came back unharmed, so guess what we go through and colonise the now called galaxy of New Eden.
Things go well for about 200 years then the EVE wormhole collapse’s, luckily humans build some massive stargate’s which work for about 100 years, however a strange catastrophe occurs to the EVE gate.
I went there myself to see a glowly ball of light which is the remains of the EVE gate a the planet New Eden.
Race Select Screen
When you first join you are greeted with this screen, where you can choose your race it doesn’t matter which you pick from what I understand the missions are all the same and you can pilot ships from all races with a bit of training anyway.
I personally joined the Gallente race as a friend was in it, however I pilot an Amarr frigate called the Punisher and I am saving precious ISK for an Amarr cruiser the Omen.
My Punisher in Warp
The game does look very pretty and there is lots of things you can do, PvP, Agent Mission, Freelancer, Mining to name a few.
See this image for a chart of ships, warning very very big.
PWETTY
Overall this game is very very good, lost 4 hours to it yesterday before I realised it was dark out, however I would warn people that it is very different to most MMORPG’s in that there is no storyline or linear progression pattern for you to follow, to can do whatever you want and however you want.
Like yesterday I went fleet pew pewing with my corp on some level 3 missions and today we are going mining to build ships for our empire.

Stargates are getting a facelift in the new expansion, Quantam Rise which comes out next week some time.
Overall an enjoyable game, but with no linear progression this game isn’t for everyone, oh and there is no tedious leveling up for hours, you tell it what skill you want to train and the game downloads the skill into your characters brain, it does take time but it works even while offline.
