So I’ve had a couple of emails from friends and readers who saw the previous post, this morning and have asked a few questions about this capture card I’m proposing to get which I want to answer now.
1. Do you think that your reader base is some sort of bank you can withdraw from whenever you so please?
No I don’t in fact I cherish the few dedicated readers we have here as they really have stuck through as we find our feet. Now the reason I asked for a donation is that simply I am taking over the other site as of the 1st of January and quite simply I want to meet my aims in integrating gaming as quickly as possible, one of which is High Quality trailers of the latest games, which with this capture card I can do.
Also please remember that people always want the best of the best, which in this case is expensive, I want to offer you the best and as soon as possible which I can’t run to in the near future and was asking for some help, I don’t care if it’s only a doller it brings me closer to the goal somewhat.
Also please remember the Donation Drive from a while back was from InvertedAces and I haven’t been doing that from since when he became inactive as I didn’t see the point.
2. Why do you need such an expensive card when a dazzle is so much cheaper?
Well this is back to the quality issue again and I was considering getting a Dazzle until I saw this, believe me my wallet would be much happier if I purchased a Dazzle however I would prefer to do HD videos rather than the older SD (Standard Definition) videos.
3. So what are these aims then?
This is what you are all thinking and I will therefore lay them out. Though they are more thing i’ll do with the card rather than aims.
- Upload HD trailers – This is a fairly simple thing really but as most people don’t turn there console on to watch a trailer once I want to offer this.
- Gameplay Demos – This would be live recordings of a new game/demo along with a commentary of what I like and dislike etc.
- Tips & Tricks – A few videos on how to do Achievements/Trophys etc.
- Rock Band DLC Trailers – Now this is a more personal one but people would benefit, what I want to do is upload videos of the new DLC so people know what they are buying essentially, dunno how I’ll do this yet as obviously the tracks cost money.
