Following Microsoft’s big announcement that the Xbox 360 would be getting a price slash, the new prices for Xbox’s in Japan are now available.
Pricing looks like this:
• Xbox 360 Elite
Previous Price: ¥39,800 (429 USD)
New Price: ¥29,800 (321 USD)
• Xbox 360 Pro
Previous Price: ¥29,800 (321 USD)
New Price: Open
• Xbox 360 Arcade
Previous Price: ¥19,800 (213 USD)
New Price: ¥19,800
Open pricing for the Pro, means that the retailer can set the price to make sure that they sell any remaining stock as that unit won’t be produced anymore. So if you can always wanted that Japanese Xbox now would be the time.
