Mika-tan has uploaded some preview screenshots of Black Rock Shooter. It looks really good.
A Pilot Edition DVD will be released on the 30th of September 2009 and will feature a short 90 seconds footage together with new songs for the Black Rock Shooter anime. This DVD will be retailing for 1,260 yen.

Okay, what exactly is Black Rock Shooter. Everyone seems to be saying that it’s awesome, but I’ve never heard of it. Needless to say, from those screenshots, this definitely looks awesome. I think that character is the background to my computer as well.
Black Rock Shooter is a character created by huke. Ryo has composed a song using Miku for his Supercell album, which also has the same name and the MV uses huke’s character. The two however are in no way shape or form the same person or related. BRS and Miku are two different people, but it just so happened that BRS looks like Miku and there was a song using Miku about BRS. However, some of us (maybe all…) sees this as the closes thing to a Miku anime and because BRS is just awesome of a character with lots of potential for story development.
