London MCM Expo

I am off to the London MCM Expo on the 24th and 25th of October the UK’s biggest media and anime convention.

The MCM Expo is held in the wonderful ExCeL Exhibition Halls near the Royal Victoria Docks and hosts a wide variety of media booths and guests. With the October convention having an impressive array of guests from the anime industry including MASAHIKO MINAMI, President of Studio BONES and MASAHIRO ANDO a director currently working for BONES, as well as numerous dubbing artists from the Western anime industry.

MCM also features Anime and Cosplay “Villages” which I will be visiting as much as possible when not taking part in the Rock Band tournament.

Over the course of the weekend we will be holding Cosplay competitions. Question & Answer sessions, exclusive footage of upcoming releases, competitions and much more!

You will have a chance to get some incredible EXCLUSIVE give-aways from the top distributors including, Manga, MVM, ADV Film, Revelation Films, BEEZ and many more.

Possibly the best part of the event will be the cosplay Masquerade.

MASQUERADE:

Marvel at the craftsmanship in some amazing handmade costumes, enjoy the short skits and performances, or get on stage and feel the thrill of displaying your hard work to the audience- whether you like dressing up in costume or just want to watch, the masquerade offers entertainment for all.

The masquerade is a costume competition that will take place on the main stage in the afternoon of both days of the Expo and there are some great prizes to be won for the most talented entrants!

Tickets to watch are FREE once you have entered the London MCM Expo and available from the Cosplay Desk.

There are a limited number of places for people and groups wanting to take part – so if you want to take part in the masquerade we recommend you register online promptly when advance registrations OPEN.

A small number of places will be available on each day of the Expo as well, and these will be issued on a first come, first served basis.

So yeah I book my tickets tomorrow as well as hopefully order my costume which I will be wearing there and to the NME Rock Band tournament at Club NME which is also on the 24th and not to mention to my cousins 21st on the 26th
