Animator Satoshi Kubo said on his mixi social networking account that he refused work on a Super Robot Wars project, citing the involvement of “Ōbari-san.” In his comment section, Kubo acknowledged that he is referring to another anime adaptation of Super Robot Wars, Bandai Namco’s tactical simulation role-playing games with original robots and robots from various anime franchises.
The most recent game in the series is Super Robot Wars OG Saga Masōkishin The Lord of Elemental, could the new adaption be based on this game?

Who the fuck cares, you just KNOW it will have minimal budget, and will never be licensed anywhere else. OR, in worse case, more of the OG craptastic plotlines without any licensed robots, i.e. without anything that makes SRW what it is.
