Well here I start what will hopefully become a weekly section, the music related to anime posts. I will try to make these live performances and PV posts, unless of course one or the other dosen’t exsist and if your really lucky ill EVEN post the lyrics.

So my first entry is WORLD’s END by FLOW, the second opening to Code Geass R2.

I really like this song its got a good energy about it and I have no idea how to describe it. It just makes me happy listening to it.

Well not so much to talk about in this chapter, its just very short and heavy on plot and talking.

So basically Naruto reads the book, who’s protagonist he is named after whilst reminiscing about his time with Jiraiya and then the chapter moves in the SERIOUS ZONE.

Going Bling

Sasuke declares his eternal hatred for Konoha as they made Itachi kill the clan and vows to kill everyone there, and he does some Magekyou showing off, but at this rate he will be blind by chapter 420.

Meanwhile the Raikage is very upset that his brother has been taken by Akatsuki or rather Falcon and he now bent on revenge, action is sure to follow and maybe Naruto will get to star in his manga for more than 2 pages next week.

Dragonball Live Action – Pictures

Well there have been quite a lot of pictures floating around the internet now, most movie pictures for the Dragonball Movie, slated to air April 09. Well as I say with all live-action lets hope its good. So far the only decent live action I have seen is Initial D.
piccy Ok well from what I ‘as heard from the internets, the story is set in High School some time in the future, following Goku and Chi-Chi leading their double lives. Of trying to fit in and their desire to fight and compete. From all appearances, 20th Century Fox IS in fact making the movie. They’ve even got it listed on their website, although there’s no pics, posters or trailers to accompany it. According to IMDB, Justin Chatwin (The Invisible, Lost, War of the Worlds) will play the part of Goku. Jamie Chung (Days of Our Lives, The Real World) has the part of Chi Chi and James Marsters (you remember him as “Spike” from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer series) will play Lord Piccolo. Also worth noting, Yun-Fat Chow (Captain Sao Feng from Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End) will play Master Roshi.

As previously reported, the movie will focus on the King Piccolo Saga which is Dragon Ball, not DBZ so there’s no Trunks, Gohan or other favorite Z-fighters.

That said, I did find this little series of what appears to be movie posters on YouTube which is supported by this guy’s post showing what he says is the “official movie poster“. You’ll notice that it has shots of “Frieza” as well as “Cell” (Frieza looks pretty cool I think) but you’ll also notice that it shows some other shots, like that of Jackie Chan playing the Monkey King in The Forbidden Kingdom and what appears to be some shots from the Death Note Live Action, so who knows?

Google Chrome :O

Well the first thing I said to myself when setting up this blog was, “I’ll avoid blogging about non-anime stuff this time around” as it kinda drove people away from the site as my first couple of posts where about computers.

However I feel I would be guilty of some crime if I didn’t review this wonderful browser. Now let me just start by saying that I’ve been a hardcore firefox fan from about the first stable release and never thought that my beloved browser could be bested (well in speed at least).

Looky Looky, it's us!

I’ve been using the “Google Chrome” browser now for like 3 hours putting it through it paces and it is unbelievable fast. For example this site fully loaded in “Firefox” in about 2.1 seconds but in “google chrome” it loaded in a simply stunning 0.8 seconds.

So I did some research into this as I couldn’t believe there could be such a difference. It turns out “Firefox” is slower as there a lot of features and addons which “Chrome” dosen’t have. So basically “firefox” is a flashy way to view the internet which you can highly customize while “Chrome” is the bar bones.

Now this for me dosen’t matter, the only plugin I use in firefox is scribefire so I can post to this blog directly from any website, however with the massive increases in speed I think I can live with directing to the admin panel first.

Right now I think I should relate this to anime and manga somehow…..Well simply put anime streaming site and online manga readers will be much much quicker, meaning you can watch and read the good stuff quicker.

Overall I rate Chrome 9/10 though would only get 8/10 if I was the person who loved my addons.

Arisa Mizuhara – Gundam Tan

Well, here is the latest Gallery uploaded to Ari-Chans website. This is a photoshoot of a rather obsure Gundam charcter, though I am certain that it is of a Gundam character.

This shoot has been around for a while if you brought any of her DVD’s with her photoshoots on it, there is a good chance you might already have it.

Well my opinion of the shoot, is that Ari-Chan looks great as always, the cosplaying itself I would say is very very good, though that tough to say without an original picture of the character. My only problem is at how bright the white background is, it makes it very difficult to make things out.

Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Film in Development at Fox

The IFMagazine.com entertainment website reports that film producer Erwin Stoff (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly) is developing a live-action adaptation of Sunrise’s Cowboy Bebop multi-genre action anime series for Fox.

Stoff told the website that the project is “in the really early stages” since the parties “just signed it the other day.” Shinichiro Watanabe’s original anime follows the motley crew of the spaceship Bebop as it travels throughout the solar system in search of the next job. Stoff promised “a real degree of faithfulness,” and added,

Why the American Anime Industry is Suffering

Many people will tell you it is the fansubber’s fault, because they release material before it is licensed onto the Internet, and let other people otherwise unable to view it, able to view it with subtitles. Others blame the Economy, and bootleggers. Others blame all of these factors.

I blame the companies.

Why should American fans wait months or years for their favorite series to be picked up by an American Anime company and aired on Television when all they have to do is log onto the Internet, search their favorite Torrent site, and download the series right to their computer, a process all of which takes maybe 2 hours for one episode. I don’t blame people for getting online and downloading fansubs, after all, there really are no downsides to them, besides taking up hard drive space.
