According to film journalist Otaka Hiroo, Warner Bros. has announced the second anime movie of Gintama. The release date is yet to be announced.
The first movie Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen has earned more than one billion yen at the box office.

Jump Square magazine has announced that “New Prince of Tennis” the manga sequel to “Prince of Tennis” has been confirmed to be adapted into an anime series.
The “New Prince of Tennis” is illustrated by the same mangaka Konomi Takeshi, and it started serialisation in Jump Square on the 4th March 2009. The story in “The New Prince of Tennis,” Ryoma and the others (team members and teams they faced) begin a new adventure when they are the only 50 middle school students to be invited to the Japanese High School Representatives Selection Camp where only the top potentials in the Japanese tennis world train.

According to Pony Canyon PR staff, the story for the K-ON! movie will take place in the UK. The main characters will go on a graduation trip abroad. The movie will be premiered on December 3rd.
Bandai Visual has launched an official website for an original TV anime “Rinne no Lagrange”. It will be aired in 2012. The details of the anime will be revealed later. The tag line is “That’s the spirit of Jersey club, isn’t it?”

Sunrise said the advertisement placed on the characters has established a new source of revenue independent of DVD & Blu-ray sales.
